Senior Jewelry CAD Designer

Position Overview
Crystal Clear 3D is seeking an experienced Senior Jewelry CAD Designer to join our international team. In this role, you will create highly detailed and production-ready CAD models of fine jewelry tailored to U.S. market standards—from prongs and baskets to intricate pavé, halo, and custom settings. The ideal candidate has a strong command of T-Spline modeling, surface refinement, and production preparation for 3D printing and casting.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and model fine jewelry CADs (3DM/STL) for the U.S. market with precision and aesthetic excellence.
• Create complex prongs, baskets, shanks, and stone settings aligned with technical manufacturing standards.
• Use T-Spline tools for organic and fluid surface modeling, blending aesthetic creativity with production functionality.
• Prepare CAD files for 3D printing and manufacturing, ensuring proper tolerances for casting and stone setting.
• Collaborate closely with the design, rendering, and production teams to meet deadlines and maintain top quality.
• Lead complex projects from concept to production-ready CAD, ensuring all client specifications are met.
• Stay current with U.S. jewelry trends, CAD innovations, and modeling workflows to continuously refine creative output.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in jewelry CAD design using Rhino, Matrix, ZBrush, or equivalent software.
• Strong proficiency in T-Spline modeling and surface correction techniques.
• Deep understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, including casting, assembly, and setting.
• Ability to interpret design sketches or client requests into accurate, production-ready CADs.
• Excellent attention to detail, technical accuracy, and creative problem-solving.
• Proven experience designing for U.S. jewelry brands or markets is a significant advantage.
• A strong portfolio of completed jewelry CAD designs is required.

Jewelry CAD File Preparation Specialist

Position Overview
We are looking for a Jewelry CAD File Preparation Specialist to join our team at Crystal Clear 3D. The candidate will be responsible for preparing 3DM files for 3D printing and casting, adding sprues, ensuring printability, and keeping a structured file-naming system to match our U.S. client standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and finalize 3DM files for 3D printing and casting.
• Add sprues and supports for accurate and clean casting.
• Inspect and correct CAD files (non-manifold surfaces, mesh holes, etc.).
• Apply clear, professional naming conventions in line with client requirements.
• Maintain organized digital libraries for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with CAD designers and project managers to meet deadlines for U.S. clients.

• 3+ years of experience with jewelry CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, ZBrush, or similar).
• Strong understanding of jewelry production workflows and casting requirements.
